  Parat Waari -- The return journey of the Palkhees कन्या सासुर्‍यासि जाये । मागें परतोनी पाहे ॥१॥ तैसें जालें माझ्या जिवा । केव्हां भेटसी केशवा   After getting on the feet of Pandurang or taking the darshan of ‘Namdev payari’ or at least darshan of the peak of the temple and returning from Pandharpur, everyone has these feelings. The responsibilities and the job are calling home but leaving the maternal home is always difficult. After Ashadhi Ekadashi, the Palkhees stay till Guru Pournima. On Guru Pournima there is a special feast called ‘kala’ after which the Palkhees start their return journeys. Parat wari is the return journey of the Pankhees. Various Palkhees have different routes to reach their homes but for this article, we’ll consider Sant Dnyaneshwar maharaj palkhee’s return journey.  “ए आय दिंडीतल्या लोकांनी आपलं डोकं लावू नका“ आकांक्षा माऊलीचा असा खडा आवाज ऐकून माझा प्रवास सुरु झाला.  आमची बस फलटणला थोडी लवकर पोहचली होती. सगळे माऊली उतरून पुढे चालू लागले होते आणि मी माझ्या मित्रासाठी मागे थांबलो होतो. बाकी लोक ज्या दिशेनी गेले त्याच बाजूला मी उभा होतो. पण आकांक्षा माऊली त्यांच्या सोबत असणाऱ्या माऊलींना गावातून घेऊन जात होत्या. आणि त्या साठी हा आदेश होता. मी पटकन त्यांच्या जवळ पळत जाऊन त्यांचा ग्रुप जॅाईन केला आणि मित्राला सांगत होतो की मी तिथे उभा होतो तेव्हड्यात आकांक्षा माऊली आल्या. वारकरी प्रथेप्रमाणे “राम कृष्ण हरी” करून आम्ही चालू लागलो.  माऊलींची लीला अगाध आहे! आम्ही जसे पुढे चालत होतो तसे तुळशी पाने आणि फुले विकणारे विक्रेते दिसू लागले. आनंद माऊली सगळ्यांना एकत्र राहायला सांगत होते. तेवढ्यात खूप गर्दी दिसू लागली. पहातो तर समोर प्रत्यक्ष ज्ञानेश्वर माऊलींचा रथ! “आजी मी ब्रम्ह पाहिले!”…. दर्शन ईतके सुरेख झाले की कायम स्मरणात राहील! आकांक्षा माऊलींना कदाचित संकेत मिळाले असतील की ह्या मार्गाने गेल्यावर दर्शन होईल आणि त्या आम्हा शेवटी उरलेल्या सगळ...
